This page generates chord sequences from a given just scale. The sequences conform to the following rules:
- The odd limit of the chord as a harmonic aggregate must be no higher than 45.
- The mean odd limit of the dyads of a chord must be no higher than 7.
- Sequential chords must have at least 1 common tone.
- Each chord change must add and remove at least 1 tone.
- All movement must be stepwise with regard to the scale.
The intended usage is as an exercise: generate a sequence of chords, then play it on an instrument tuned to the scale, and notice what is being played. Optionally, improvise over the chord changes.
