# Pokémon Crystal - "Hope 2" ROM hack

## Main changes

- Only super effective moves work (for you)
	- This includes status moves
	- Sketch is the single exception
- Moves can be changed on the moves screen using Start and Select
	- A Pokémon's pool is its level-up learnset + egg moves
- Pokémon don't gain experience from battle
- Must take all three Pokémon from Elm's lab
- Running from a trainer battle triggers a whiteout
- Money is not lost when whiting out

## Auxiliary changes

- Wild encounters can be turned off
- Choose the species of the Odd Egg
	- Legendaries are barred
- All species can be encountered
- Trade evolutions are replaced with level evolutions
	- Evolutionary trade items can be used like evolutionary stones
- Catch rate bugs are fixed

## Quality of life changes

- Pokémon are fully healed after each battle
- Eggs hatch in 1/256 of the normal time
- Kurt finishes balls instantly
- Hold B to run
- Faster text and animations
- Fishing and headbutting never fail (when possible)
