# Pokémon Crystal - "Hope" ROM hack

## Main changes

- Fainted Pokémon can only be revived by Sacred Ash
	- Therefore, Pokémon cannot be deposited into Bill's PC or daycare
- Moves have 1/5 of their normal PP
	- PP is fully restored after each battle
	- PP Up gives +1 PP instead of +20%

## Auxiliary changes

- Wild encounters can be turned off
- Choose the species of the Odd Egg
	- Legendaries are barred
- Pokémon get boosted experience for fighting Pokémon of a higher level
- All species can be encountered
- Trade evolutions are replaced with level evolutions
	- Evolutionary trade items can be used like evolutionary stones
- Selfdestruct and Explosion don't halve defense
- Items prices are halved
- No vending machines
- Catch rate bugs are fixed

## Quality of life changes

- Hold B to run
- Faster text and animations
- Fishing never fails (when possible)
